OvOmed attended GP Study evening in St Vincents private talk on Bariatrics

Exceptional talk on Obesity related Respiratory Disorders from Dr. John Garvey at a GP Study evening in St Vincent’s Private hospital. Obesity is a disease with compelling scientific information to support this finding by Prof Carel Le Roux.

Ms. Helen Heneghan bookended the evening with an excellent overview of the surgical treatment options – Sleeve Gastrectomy now as a good as By Pass. Surgery options are now safe, efficacious but need to be available in the public hospitals. This surgery will reduce the enormous burden on Cardiovascular, Respiratory and Diabetic diseases.
